I have owned, since 1970, seventeen vehicles in my family. Of which Toyotas were the vast majority. Toyotas are good reliable vehicles with pretty good working life of at least 10 years without any problem. The only comment I would make is to have a little bit pep in their engines like the Hondas have compared to Toyotas. I would like very much to see a Toyota Corolla Wagon with a high platform like RAV-4 with a peppy engine most likely a Turbo charged and 4 wheel drive. I recently rented a Chevy Cruze LT. It is a peppy little car with a fantastic engine. Something Toyota should be able to offer in all the smaller Toyota family of vehicles including 2014 CAMRY. If Toyota does this my next car will also be a Toyota. Else, I will go for a Honda or an American car, some of them are getting better each year.
